Matthew 28:19, 20 says, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.”
I believe this is the very heart beat of our Lord Jesus Christ. Jesus has called us to “go!” We must go and share the gospel with the people in our towns, cities, country, and around the world. It’s a mandate that Christ gave his disciples and we too must follow the mandate.

One of RockHouse’s outreach tools is our Press Nite. Press Nite takes place every 6 weeks and it’s a night of evangelistic excitement. We challenge our students to “press” their friends to come to youth. This is our opportunity to tell unsaved students about the Lord Jesus Christ.

RHYM fellowship is three-fold:
We want to connect unsaved students to saved students to show that living for Christ is a peer-positive way to live.
We also want to connect our students to our leaders so leaders can share their journey of faith with the students and begin to build the critical relationship between the two.
Lastly, there is no greater feeling in ministry to experience the power of our Lord Jesus Christ with the students.

We accomplish this goal by having small groups every 2nd Wednesday of the month. We also plan numerous trips such as Youth Convention, Summer and Winter Camps, Magic Mountain, Paint Ball, and variety of different outings.
There were thousands of people that Christ interacted with on a daily basis but he decided on only twelve men in which He would pour his very heart into so they would go into the highways byways to make disciples out of men.
As this world turns more and more against God, RHYM’s goal is to disciple young people for Jesus Christ. We do that through our discipleship program called D4. D4 is a discipleship program with 4 levels of essential Christian teaching. Many students darken the doors of youth ministry for roughly 4-6 years and never go deeper with God. D4’s purpose is to disciple students in the Lord and help each student build their foundation in Christ.
Matthew 28:20 says, “Just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many." RHYM wants to have the same attitude as Christ did. We want to be a youth group of student who serve God by serving in ministry. We encourage our students to serve others by committing themselves to a ministry of the church or RockHouse Youth Ministry.
Our students are able to serve through the drama team, outreaches, Kidz Church volunteers, and the Student Leadership Team.

Worship is essential to RHYM. RHYM’s goal in worship is to encourage the students to worship God with a desperate passion. The Bible says in Psalms 96:9 ”Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.”
Our worship team is lead by young adults and a Pastor who have a passion to not only lead the students in worship, but to also teach and enhance each student’s talents and calling towards the ministry of Worship. |
